This A2B has a rather distinctive look. The motor pushes it very smoothly, but forcefully, up to 30 km/h, and there’s the option of riding up to 20 km/h without pedaling at all.
A2B ebike makes record trip across the USA
This summer, the 'Ride the Future’ tour, completed a cross-country electric vehicle parade - covering over 44 cities from USA’s East Coast through to Google headquarters in California.
British born bike enthusiast, Ben Hopkins, took on the challenge and succeeded in making the longest journey ever made on an electric bicycle.
Clocking in an impressive 4,396 miles (6,300 km), Ben rode an Alva+ across several types of terrain including the Nevada desert. Along with other e-vehicles (ebikes, e-scooters and e-motorcycles) the ‘Ride the Future’ tour participant proved that switching from gas powered to electric vehicles was not only realistic but also an economical, modern-day alternative mode of transport.
Definitely no mean feat. Well done, Ben!
